Alofoke le responde al movimiento Matrimonio Feliz por solicitud de cierre de La Casa 2
El creador del proyecto asegura que la plataforma opera bajo normas propias de YouTube
Santo Domingo.– El productor y empresario Santiago Matías salió al frente a la solicitud hecha por el Movimiento Matrimonio Feliz, entidad que pidió al Ministerio de Cultura cerrar el reality La Casa de Alofoke 2, alegando que el formato promueve expresiones inapropiadas y comportamientos contrarios a los valores familiares.
Durante la transmisión estelar del proyecto, Matías sostuvo que la petición no procede, ya que —según explicó— el contenido se difunde en YouTube, una plataforma que regula sus propios lineamientos y no depende de intervenciones ministeriales para su funcionamiento.
“Cuando uno sube contenido, la misma plataforma te pregunta si es apto para niños o no. En nuestro caso, claramente es contenido para adultos. Para menores existe YouTube Kids”, señaló Matías frente a los integrantes del reality, restando validez a los argumentos del movimiento.
El empresario también afirmó que intentó comunicarse vía telefónica con César Curiel de Moya, director del Movimiento Matrimonio Feliz, con el objetivo de conversar sobre la solicitud, pero dijo no haber recibido respuesta.
Matías agregó que se pretende atribuir a su proyecto responsabilidades que no le corresponden. “Han querido colocar a Alofoke como tutor de la educación nacional, cuando el país tiene serios desafíos educativos según la prueba PISA, y esa no es mi función”, expresó.
Asimismo, atribuyó la controversia a la creciente influencia que —según afirmó— está teniendo la plataforma en la región. “Estamos logrando una proyección importante en Latinoamérica y eso incomoda a muchos”, indicó.
De igual forma, destacó el posicionamiento digital del canal Alofoke Radio Show, que de acuerdo con la plataforma Social Blade, ocupa actualmente el puesto número 2 en el ranking de News & Politics en Estados Unidos, reforzando su presencia entre los espacios de opinión y noticias con mayor crecimiento en visualizaciones y suscriptores.
